Worthy Is The Lamb

Posted by jimmiewkersh on May 29, 2009

Worthy, worthy, worthy, worthy

worthy is the Lamb that was slain

The Angels cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Slain before the foundation of the world

Holy is the Lamb

Sacrificed in Heaven before the world

The Angles cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Worthy, worthy, worthy, worthy

worthy is the Lamb that was slain

The Angels cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Who in the beginning was the Word

Holy is the Lamb

The creator of the world

The Angles cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Worthy, worthy, worthy, worthy

worthy is the Lamb that was slain

The Angels cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Who was the Passover sacrifice

Holy is the Lamb

Whose blood protected the firstborn

The Angles cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Worthy, worthy, worthy, worthy

worthy is the Lamb that was slain

The Angels cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Whose flesh is the bread

Holy is the Lamb

Whose blood is the wine

The Angles cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Worthy, worthy, worthy, worthy

worthy is the Lamb that was slain

The Angels cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Who is our crucified sacrifice

Holy is the Lamb

Whose blood cleanses us from sin

The Angles cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Worthy, worthy, worthy, worthy

worthy is the Lamb that was slain

The Angels cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Holy is the Lamb

The Angles cry Holy, Holy, Holy

Holy is the Lamb

Holy is the Lamb

Why Does CastMaster Ministries Give Away So Much?

Posted by jimmiewkersh on April 30, 2009

When we open The Retreat, we will strive to exceed expectations of superior quality in every area of service at The Retreat.  We intend to be known as a ministry committed to biblically ministering to the body of Christ.

Our Minister’s Retreat is a free gift to full time ministers and their families and to displaced ministers and their families.  The dual purposes of relaxation and restoration ministers to ministers and their families is ways never imagined.  Our guests will relax in world-class accommodations while staying at the Minister’s Retreat while having complete access to the facilities of The Retreat.

Our Missions Training area is designed to train individuals and corporate bodies to minister to those in their communities who need God’s love demonstrated to them.  The first part of training is making wood furniture to give to local residents who need beds, tables and other household items.  This first part of training also includes quilt/blanket making to give to families in desperate need of a warm quilt/blanket throughout the year.  The second part of the training is to teach participants how to construct energy efficient, environmentally friendly homes for local families in need of a blessing from God.  One month during the spring of each year our plan is to build a home in the Austin area while training these missionaries.

Our ministry to underprivileged children in the Austin, Houston, San Antonio triangle is one of our most anticipated ministries.  During the Summer we will have one week where we take 600+ teens and bring them to The Retreat for a free week.  We also plan on bringing 500+ children and teens to The Retreat on two different weekends at Christmas.  While they are at The Retreat they will experience God’s love by having gifts lavished upon them.  What they will not know, is that their family members will also be receiving Christmas on those weekends as well.  The furniture and quilts/blankets made during missions training is delivered to their homes while they are at The Retreat.

Why does CastMaster Ministries want to give away so much?  We want to be a picture of what God did for us.  We want to demonstrate God’s love for us in that while we were still sinners, He died for us.  We want to give because God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son so that whoever would believe in Him would have everlasting life.  Why do we give, because God gave.

CastMaster Ministries Camp Information

Posted by jimmiewkersh on January 25, 2009

CastMaster Ministries is multi-dimensional 501(c)3 religious non-profit specifically developed to minister to the corporate body and individual believers.  Thomas Cotter IV, James D. Hughes, Jimmie W. Kersh and Kyle A. Patterson founded and serve as the executive directors of CastMaster Ministries Inc.  The CastMaster Ministries umbrella covers three separate and diverse ministries:  First is the Conference and Retreat Center Ministry that includes the Minister’s Retreat Ministry.  Second is the Publishing and Production Ministry.  Third is the Ranch Ministry for troubled youth.

The purpose of CastMaster Ministries is to expose children, teenagers, adults and senior adults to their immeasurable worth and identity in Jesus Christ to empower them to impact their community with the life changing love of God.

The philosophy of CastMaster Ministries is to provide ministry tools that will accomplish our purpose. We will equip individuals and organizations with biblically sound, relevant resources to retool and refocus their ministry efforts. We will be the outfitter of choice for churches as they seek to provide the highest quality materials for the teaching and training of their membership.

The vision of CastMaster Ministries is to outfit believers to “fish”  in every mountain stream, pond, lake and ocean so that every person will receive a presentation of the Gospel.

The mission of CastMaster Ministries is to be the premier outfitter of the church, the saints and Christian organizations by providing the highest quality facilities and services.

Camping Ministry

The Retreat is the centerpiece of the Conference and Retreat Center Ministry.  The Retreat

is a high-end resort-style Christian Conference and Retreat Center based in the Austin, Houston and San Antonio, Texas triangle designed to accommodate more than 864 guests.  The Retreat has a projected cost of approximately $25 million.

The purpose of our Conference and Retreat Ministry is to outfit individual believers and the corporate body to fish in every mountain stream, pond, lake and ocean in a setting that promotes community and safety.  The goal of the CastMaster Ministries Conference and Retreat ministry is to be a self supportive environment where believers and non believers can come together to experience the love of God in a natural setting which promotes community in a sanctuary of safety.

The Retreat is specifically designed for year-round, multi age, multi group usage allowing the most feasible use of the facilities as possible.  The design of the facilities allows for multi age group usage including children, youth, young adults, median age adults and senior adults.  The design of the facilities also allows for multi group usage allowing up to six groups to use the facilities at the same time.

The Minister’s Retreat is a gift to Christian ministers. The Minister’s Retreat has two main purposes:  First, renewal is for full time ministry staff and his immediate family. Our gift includes up to 7 nights of lodging and meals as well as the use of all of the facilities and amenities of the Conference and Retreat Center. Minister and families are also welcome at all of the evening worship services during their stay. Because The Retreat is centrally located near three of the largest cities in Texas, we are a great hub for day trips for the minister and his family if they so choose to venture out for site seeing.  Second, restoration is for ministry staff who are recently terminated or forced resignation and their immediate family, whether or not they have chosen to rejoin full time ministry. We are committed to minister to ministers and their families. Our concern stems from our own personal experiences with the trauma of ministerial termination and we understand the uncertainty associated with this upheaval. Our gift includes up to 12 weeks of lodging and meals as well as the use of all facilities and amenities of The Retreat.   Restorative counseling services will be provided during these stays.  Contacts for church ministry service will be given upon completion of restorative counseling.

The Publishing and Production Ministry

The Second Phase of CastMaster Ministries is the publishing and production ministry.  We will be placing this ministry on the property with The Retreat.

The CastMaster Ministries team is blessed with writers who put together exceptional materials to equip the local body and believers to fish in every mountain stream, pond, lake and ocean so that every person will receive a presentation of the Gospel.

CastMaster Ministries also wants to train and develop the next generation of writers, musicians and producers to prepare them for their ministries that lie ahead.  We will be a publisher for new and emerging talent wishing to minister to the body of Christ.  We will focus on a variety of materials for every aspect of corporate and individual Christian life, whether in evangelism, discipleship, worship, Christian educational materials for homeschool and private school, ministry leadership training, marriage and family, youth and children as well as church and ministry consulting.

We also anticipate a Recording/production studio that will be provided at little to no cost as a ministry to up and coming artists.  We are committed to ministering to the whole body of Christ in any way that is possible so that we can equip the local body and believers to fish in every mountain stream, pond, lake and ocean so that every person will receive a presentation of the Gospel.

Ranch Ministries

CastMaster Ministries has long term plans to build ranches for troubled teens that will host up to 30 adolescents.  This working ranch will have therapeutic horse training and riding instruction, cattle ranching and farming.  Our ranch for troubled teens is an outdoor restoration ministry using horse training and riding, cattle ranching and farming to teach self-discipline and life skills.  We will use all of our other ministries to fund and develop this ministry.

We Need Your Help

We are currently beginning a Capital Fundraising Campaign.  We need to raise $100,000 to begin working with a Professional Fundraising Consultant.  We need to raise $25Million to open The Retreat.

Stealing From the Storehouse

Posted by jimmiewkersh on October 18, 2008

Does anyone remember what happened to the communalism that resulted right after the ascendance of Jesus into heaven?  Can anyone tell me what happened to their socialist ideals?  Does anyone have a clue why Paul had to reprimand the people for their laziness and unwillingness to work for their food?  There is a news story which is is highly reminiscent of the early lazy believers.  Paul had to tell those lazy, good for nothing moochers that if they do not work, then they do not eat.  This is in total contrast to what bleeding heart, liberal democrats believe.

if people work hard to provide for themselves and something unforeseen happens so that they need help, then the Christian community is to gather around them and minister to their needs if they are working hard to provide for themselves.  No free lunches, just good hard work to provide for your own needs.  They are not to depend on the church or the government to meet their own personal needs.  If they are not working hard and they are willing to take from the government, then they are taking from the pockets of those who actually do work hard to support their own family and friends.  If they are not working hard and they are willing to take from the church, then they are taking from those the Bible says are actually supposed to be helped by the church.

When it comes down to it, those who do not work hard and pay income taxes do not deserve to take from the bounty that the government has set aside for those who are in need of true assistance.  If a person does not pay taxes, why should he receive from what he has not supplied?  Is that not stealing?  Is that not defrauding others who have worked hard and pay taxes?

When the Ignorant “Christian Left” Speaks

Posted by jimmiewkersh on September 4, 2008

I find myself at a loss for words when “Christians” speak ignorantly.  I may have to type s-l-o-w so that many on the “Christian Left” can comprehend.

The Bible when it is used as a basis for determining public policy for a country must be understood for what it is.  The Old Testament as it is written is a history book, poetry and prophecy, as well as laws for governing a people.   Therefore, the Old Testament can be used as a guide for laws and governance of peoples or nations, but it is not written as such.

The New Testament is completely opposite of the Old Testament in its ability to be used for governance.  If you try to use it as a basis for governance then you have either accidentally or intentionally misread the document.  The New Testament is solely concerned with individuals being in a right relationship with their creator.  To draw anything else from the New Testament is vile at best and heretical at worst.

To demand that a government must comply with the teachings of Jesus is arrogant.  Jesus did not come to have governments built on His teachings, He came to find the lost and bring them into a right relationship with His Father.  To say that Jesus came for anything political is heresy.

Jesus did not teach us to care for the least of those as a country; He came to teach us to do that as individuals.  He did not come to teach us to provide health care as a country; He came to teach us to care for our fellow man as individuals.  If you want to find a Biblical document that deals directly with governing a country, then go to the Old Testament.  It is replete with rules, laws, and directions for governing people.

So that many of my “Christian Left” friends can come to a better understanding of their heretical views concerning the use of the Bible to govern countries:  S-t-o-p  using it to govern this country with unless you want to follow the part that is truly written as a guide to rule countries.  You look f-o-o-l-i-s-h and not very well read when you continue to use the New Testament completely out of context in this way.

Biblical Worship Preview of a Rough Introduction

Posted by jimmiewkersh on July 24, 2008

Biblical Worship

Introduction

I have become use to blank expressions and “Uh, Uh, I don’t know.”  I have also become quite comfortable with men and women babbling mindlessly trying to answer a simple question.  I have been asking this simple question for a few years now: “What is biblical worship?”  I have grown quite use to hearing anything that can be imagined.  I have truly struggled with why so many people do not have a clue about what they espouse when they open their mouth. On Issues of Biblical Christianity and Public Policy

Posted by jimmiewkersh on May 19, 2008

I have been involved in the battle of religious liberties in the last three decades. I have been a fighter in the battles of abortion, same sex marriage, and prayer in the public schools. It is now time to look at what this has accomplished and who has suffered, bled, and lost in this battle.

We failed miserably. We trusted in Republicans and voted for them, but what did they do, they raped and pillaged us morally and spiritually and financially. Before Republicans we trusted Democrats and voted for them. What did that do, bound us to a party who raped us morally and spiritually and financially. We forgot a biblical truth: Be wise as serpents but be as gentle as doves. We have become as wise as doves and as gentle as serpents. We have become what we are supposed to hate and hate what we are supposed to love. We are not loving, we are hating. We are ignorant and clueless that we have been sold a bill of goods and are being laughed at by both political parties as morons and oafs.

If you really want to get down to brass tacks concerning Christianity and public policy, then you are in for a rude awakening. The Old Testament is actually a governmental book on relationships between nation/states. The New Testament is a book on individual to individual relationships. Here is biblical Christian public policy. There is not one. Love is our only public policy. The early church tried meeting all needs of everyone. It was an abject failure. What they did was not God commanded, it was man intending to do good. This is what Communism and Socialism forget: The New Testament commands Christians, not countries to love and care for the poor and needy. After the communistic failure in Acts the New Testament demands that if a person does not work, then they and their family are not to eat or to be given charity from the church. Democrats and Republicans, liberals and conservatives forget the work part of the equation and/or the care for the poor part of the equation.

The actions and inactions of Christians alone have destroyed this nation. We have put too much power and authority and resources into the hands of politicians. We should have been spending that money on the poor within our communities of faith. We should have been spending that money to highly educate our children within our communities of faith to be thinkers. We turned over our Christian heritage to Cesar. We have given Caesar what was God’s, our children. We are biblically commanded to training up our children ourselves instead of handing them over to the government to train for us.

As American Christians we are pious and not pure. We are caring, but not loving. We are so easily swayed by philosophies and teachings that we are not biblical Christians. We are American Christians, the kind of Christians who think Jesus should be proud of us. Well, He is not. He hates us for what we have made His name in this country. We have made His name a laughing stock. We have created American Jesus and not biblical Jesus. We have created a Jesus that follows us around the world asking for our permission to do anything on his own. We think that God beckons on our every call or whim. HE DOES NOT!

Christians in America should be tolerant of the views of others. That is what this country was founded upon. Yes, we were founded by a bunch of white Christian guys, but they were tolerant of the views and ideas of others. We are called to love and we do not. We are called to evangelize all people groups (red and yellow, black and white) but we do not. Look at how culturally diverse your church is and tell me you and your church are evangelizing all people groups. We are called to be good citizens of our country, but we have failed there too.

Wine Tours and Southern Baptists in Alabama

Posted by jimmiewkersh on April 9, 2008

In dealing with Bible thumping oafs, buffoons and morons it is important to remember one thing, they are not tolerant. They are incapable of understanding any viewpoint other than their own. They are senseless and useless when it come to the use of the pea-sized brains.

Here is my example of the day: Alcohol sales and use.

What makes my heart hurt even more is that I too am a Southern Baptist and we are just plain ignorant when it comes to the Bible and alcohol.
