How many atoms did God create when He created all that was created? How much power (energy) is in each of those atoms? How much energy (power) was extended by God when He created? Was that amount of energy even noticeably missing from God once He was finished creating?
I am writing a Biblical Christian Worldview book for to be used at a camp in the summer of 08 or 09. The section I am working on at this point in time deals with God as the Creator. I am interested if anyone can determine how many atoms there are in the universe and how many of each kind of atom and how much power is in each of those individual atoms. I will give you credit if you can give me a solid source or a scientifically provable calculation which will provide these answers.
These numbers only demonstrate the power extended to create these atoms. These numbers do not even attempt to calculate the mind of the engineer who determined how to put these atoms together. It does not take into account the mind of the engineer who determined how these atoms would interact with each other. These ddo not take into account the mind of the engineer who determined how these atoms would come together to form other molecules and systems.
These numbers do not even take into account the mind of the creator who determined before creation how the creation would work in relation to all other aspects of the creation. How would one attempt to calculate the mind power that would be necessary to complete the actions and interactions of each atom created for even one day, much less thousands of years or longer?
How would one even attempt to calculate the genius required to come up with the concept of time and space and bring it into existence by speaking it into existence in a working manner? Then speak into existence of the universe and all that exists within it in a fully functioning manner which would be observable from the earth? Big questions with big implications require something much bigger than the mind of man to comprehend.

I am a Southern Baptist and I was a full time education minister from 1994 to 2004. I was involved in educational ministry from 1986 until 2004 and have been involved in leading hundreds of people in how to have effective and productive Sunday School ministries. I have even served as a state trainer for Youth Sunday School for the Baptist Convention of New Mexico. There are two articles in the July 14 Baptist Press dealing with Sunday School 3-D Sunday School 1 and 3-D Sunday School 2 where my suspicions about Lifeway’s destruction of Sunday School has come to fruition. In its never ending desire to make money and market its materials Lifeway has either purposely or ignorantly decided to eviscerate Sunday School as an evangelistic tool.
What Lifeway has begun is a denunciation of evangelism and has instead promoted its marketing strategies to fulfill its projected sales and revenue. There is nothing more insidious than the beloved Baptist Sunday School Board being transformed into the Death Star of the Darth Vader’s Galactic Empire. I know that many in Southern Baptist life are ready to drive me out of the convention right now for speaking blasphemy against the Nashville Mecca, but it is time someone called a spade a spade and these guys have destroyed evangelistic Sunday School.
First of all, evangelism is not discipleship. Second, evangelism is not discipleship. Third, evangelism is not discipleship. It never has been and never can be so stop thinking that they are one in the same. Evangelism is for LOST people and discipleship is for BELIEVERS. In trying to market to Purpose Driven churches, Lifeway has in essence devalued evangelism in favor of marketing Sunday School materials to people who already Christians and who should be in discipleship classes instead of evangelism classes.
What ivory tower morons decided to make Sunday School a mix of discipleship, missions, worship and bible teaching without evangelism? That is what Lifeway is marketing. They have turned an evangelistic tool into a neutered non-reproductive class full of fat little believers sitting on their collective butts doing nothing but feeding themselves donuts and coffee and patting themselves on the back for attending a dumbed down Bible lesson about being nice.
Evangelism is about seeing people become believers, not watching believers sit on their collective rears droning on about their mundane existence. Evangelism is about the lost becoming believers. If lost people are not in a Sunday School class, they should not have class and re-evaluate their reason for attending that class. If lost people are not present then why have an evangelism class. DUH – only morons in ivory towers could figure out how to make money on religious drones droning on and on about their Laodicea lifestyles while millions of their friends die and go to hell. Lifeway has destroyed evangelism in Southern Baptist churches. They turned Sunday School into discipleship classes and distracted an entire generation from one of the commands on their life and that is to evangelize the lost. But then again why should Lifeway bother to care, they are making their money, but at what cost to this nation and the eternal souls of hundreds of millions of people.
